Game of the Week

AWP Mode: Elite

Yeah, we know, Call of Duty is still killing it, but do we need only one FPS? NO! The more, the better. AWP Mode is a great alternative to the other first-person shooter games that are available out there, and that’s why it’s our Game of the Week this time.

AWP Mode gameplay is quite similar to the other FPS we are used to: two different teams battle each other to get the most kills in a limited period of time. The variety of weapons and armor you can choose from is quite big and, as expected, you can upgrade them to build your own arsenal, including the reload time or the damage.

Something we found quite interesting in AWP Mode is the level of character customization. You can change the style of your guns with skins and straps. Not that it’ll have an impact on your shooting skills, but you’ll look much cooler! On top of that, there are many characters to choose from, including New Yorkers, bad girls, and bikers.

The social component of this game is quite cool as well, you can make a clan with your friends and talk to them via the in-game chat. We believe this is the best way of getting the most out of this title since you can agree on strategies and techniques and make the game much more complex.

The controls are the aspect we can say we are less satisfied with. Although it’s the well known left thumb to move around and the right one to look around and shoot, we find it too easy to shoot by accident when trying to look around — zero cool. newnSo, if you enjoyed Call of Duty and are willing to give a new FPS a try, this is your chance. Download it now!
