Game of the Week

Tales of Crestoria

We’re sure you’re familiar with the “Tales of” franchise, and you’ve probably already played many of the Bandai Namco games before. This time we can say that our Game of the Week is a kind of celebration of the history of the franchise. We love seeing well-known characters, and the storyline is absolutely amazing and engaging. Because of all these reasons, we declare Tales of Crestoria our Game of the Week!

This gacha game brings together many of the characters we already know from other titles, like Yuri, Lloyd, and Milla. The story takes place in a world where popular vote can condemn citizens as “sinners,” and that’s exactly what happened to Kanata and Misella. After being labeled as transgressors by their peers, they had to leave and run away from the enforcers. On the way you’ll be collecting gleamstones to summon powerful heroes to fight for you in different scenarios.

Although Tales of Crestoria has been criticized over its fight system, that can actually be speed up or even automatized, and the truth is that we find it quite entertaining. The visuals are as flabbergasting as you would expect in a game coming to us from Japan. Even just seeing our 3D characters unleash their attacks in the field is amazing enough for us to recommend this game. Plus, the storyline makes it as enjoyable as an action movie.

Although it seems there were several bugs and technical issues on its release a couple of weeks ago, early adopters were compensated with nice promotions. Whether you are new to the “Tales of” franchise or you’re familiar with gacha games, this is a great opportunity for you to give Tales of Crestoria a try and tell us what you think in our social media channels!
