Game of the Week

Om Nom: Run

ZeptoLab, the creators of Cut the Rope, have done it again. This time, they bring us an endless running game with our favorite character: Om Nom. To top it off, our Game of the Week this time is based on a title with an amazing storyline, Om Nom Stories: Super-Noms. Could we ask for anything else? Get ready to learn more about Om Nom and Om Nelle’s amazing running in Om Nom Run!

As in most endless running games, you’ll have to avoid obstacles, collect coins, and get power-ups. The controls are the usual ones: sliding your finger on the screen to get down, jump up, move to the left, or move to the right. Many will find this a bit simple, but this is exactly why we love endless running games: you don’t need to worry too much about how to control your character. In Om Nom Run you’ll need to collect coins to clear new levels, and the power-ups—which include rockets, jumping boots, and magnets—will help you to reach your goals.

The variety in the settings is one of our favorite things in Om Nom Run—you’ll get surprised on every level! Busy streets full of traffic, rooftops, industrial areas... Always full of color and sporting the funny, cartoonish designs that we've loved since their appearance on Cut the Rope. As we mentioned before, the storyline in Om Nom Run is based on the Super-Noms universe, so be ready to fight villains, like the evil Spider, and visit some well-known places in Nomville.

Om Nom Run comes with a very useful (and short) tutorial, so you’ll be able to start enjoying the game a minute after downloading it. Don’t forget to let us know what you think in our social media channels!
