It’s been a few weeks since we first saw the trailer of our now Game of the Week. Although the expectations were very high due to the movie-like style and stunning graphics, we all stayed rather skeptical... it wouldn’t be the first time that a new game fails to keep up with expectations. Well, Lineage2M is here to carry on the popular Lineage2 franchise, and we can only say: Be ready for the next level of a massive multiplayer RPG!

Lineage2M is a mobile MMORPG that takes place in an open world called Aden. This fantasy place is full of monsters and treasures that provide us with action, fun, and a stunning visual experience easily comparable to the best PC or console games. NCSOFT, the studio behind this title, is clearly attempting to bring quite a few innovations to the genre. Starting with a humongous open world to explore, the game gets even more impressive with player competition on a massive scale. Lineage2M might look like another MMORPG but it’s packed with features and, especially, graphic details that we haven’t seen before. In terms of gameplay, there’s a rich variety of races with over 31 classes: humans, elves, dwarves, orcs... you name it. Along with a lot of weaponry to upgrade and collect, it looks like Lineage2M offers endless opportunities for different types of battles.

This time the game is being released simultaneously for PC and Android devices, which we're taking as a sign of what we can expect in terms of quality—Lineage2M can easily position itself on the same level as some well-known PC games. It boasts full 3D graphics in 4K (ultra-HD), which is the highest definition available on mobile devices. Details in the graphics are taken care of with a precision we’ve not seen before in the Android gaming world, with texture of fabrics, armor patterns, and character expressions looking more realistic than ever.
