Game of the Week

Homescapes

Do you like decorating and housekeeping? Any chance you might be interested in puzzles? If the answer is YEAH to both, this is probably your favorite week, because one of the most popular games for Android in the recent years with a home theme is our Game of the Week; say hello to Homescapes!

Homescapes is the follow-up of Gardenscapes, the massive hit created by Playrix. Both of them are very similar and the main character, a very charismatic and friendly butler, is the same in both. Austin decides to take a well needed vacation and visit his parents at his childhood home. The problem is that, once he arrives, he discovers that the estate is in very bad condition and his parents are planning on selling it! What would you do? Of course, nostalgia hits and repairs and decorating starts taking place.

You have two different aspects in this game that inter-connects with each other. On the first hand, you have a fun story about the house renovations. You’ll have goals along the way on which you’ll collect wallpaper and furniture to repair and decorate the house. This is the part to enjoy colorful designs and a lot of very detailed objects around you. On the other hand, you’ve got the puzzle gameplay, a match-3 type of game that will allow you to move on to the next level and earn stars and coins along the way. The two parts connect with the coins and the stars; you can use them to buy more furniture and make more repairs.

One of the things that made Homescapes very popular was the destruction, meaning how things can also go terribly wrong! While repairing the house you’ll need to be quite careful, since you can cause fires, floods and many other events that will complicate your life... or amuse you. Are you one of those that enjoy destruction? Download it now and tell us what you think in our social media channels!
