Game of the Week

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite

The makers of Pokémon Go have struck again. This time they arm us with wands rather than Pokémon. Yes, the game is inspired from J.K Rowling’s the Harry Potter books. Since Harry Potter already took care of You-Know-Who, you get to take on a new challenge to ensure the muggle world is safe from our world.

There has been a catastrophe in the wizard world. There have been cases and traces of Foundables in the Muggle world. Foundables include creatures, magical artifacts, people from the Wizard World and memories. A task force has been set up to deal with this calamity and you are on it.

The Statute Secrecy Task Force includes wizards and witches from across the globe. It is time to put the old rivalries to bed and make sure that magic remains concealed from muggle eyes.

You have a magic map that will help you locate Foundables through the magic trails they leave. You will need to cast spells so as to overcome the mystifying magic behind the Foundables for you to safely return them where they belong.

The encounters with the Foundables are rich in 3D details and the game offers you a 360 degrees’ experience. Your wand alone is barely enough to track and capture the Foundables. You are granted access to Inns that will help you recharge your spell energy, ingredients to brew up various portions, and Portkeys to teleport you to various locations.

Furthermore, you will need allies of your own. Team up with your friends to overcome Wizarding Challenges and take part in multiplayer battles happening in real time. There are magical professions that come with unique abilities and skills. You can choose to work with Magizoologists, professors and Aurors.

The Wizarding world is looking up to you to keep the order. This game has been co-developed by Niantic, Inc. and WB Games San Francisco.
