Game of the Week

Fortnite

We can call it the Game of the Week.... or Game of the Decade. Fortnite really needs no presentation because virtually all gamers (not only Android ones) have already given it a try. It might be because of the unique looks and outfits of its characters, the stunning graphics powered by Unreal Engine 4 or the creative feature... It doesn’t matter; the truth is Fortnite has been a phenomenon in the Android gaming world for years and we’re here to celebrate it!

The dynamics of the game are pretty well-known already: up to 100 players parachute in a desert island to gear up and fight each other until there’s only one survivor. The island will be shrinking as time goes by, so you’ll need to be quick in finding weapons and other items and claiming the position of last-man-standing. One of the reasons for Fortnite to stand out among other battle royales is the level of customization. The looks can truly say a lot about you: unique skins, different harvesting tools (the only tool you start with), and even a very own colorful glider will send a message to your opponents. Fortnite’s characters are also famous for their emotes, a move or dance to celebrate your victories.

In Fortnite, the creative component takes a prominent position. Among the items you can collect by exploring the island, you’ll find material to build the structures that best suit your strategy. Walls, floors, stairs, roofs... you name it. Although gamers have already complained to Epic Games (the studio behind Fortnite) about the controls on this creative feature, the truth is we still find it like a corner-stone that makes Fortnite stand out before other battle royales out there. And of course, the graphics. Fortnite is created with Unreal Engine 4, a technology that has proved to be a revolution not only in the gaming world but in the entertainment industry in general. You’ll see that the textures and animations are stunning and extremely realistic, to an extent that Unreal Engine has even been used in the Mandalorian!

We’re aware Fortnite is probably already installed on your device, but let’s celebrate together and join the Winter Season for a match! And don’t forget to let us know what your strategy is in our social media channels.
