Game of the Week

Call of Duty Mobile

You've probably heard a few times that 'mobile gaming is nothing compared to proper console gaming'. Well... Maybe people who said that didn't hear about our Game of the Week, because Call of Duty Mobile has become one of the most downloaded titles in the history of Android for a reason. It's so close to a console gaming experience that we're absolutely loving it!

Do you need us to explain to you the story behind this? This is warfare, and you'll have to face it. You'll find both the multiplayer mode and a.... wait for it... battle royale! You can play along with up to 100 players. We find this version quite similar to Fortnite but with amazingly realistic graphics. Anyway, both of them are quite amazing. You can also find other game modes like Domination (capture objectives and earn points) or Search and Destroy (destroy an objective or stop the enemy from doing it).

The Gameplay

The controls are surprisingly great, even for people with big thumbs and a little phone (like me). The usual left for moving around and right for aiming in different directions. The surprise? There is no shooting button. Instead, you'll just have to focus on aiming with your right thumb. There are two different control modes: Basic and Advance. As always, you'll find a lot of different weapons, so choose them carefully before every game! As the versions for other platforms, this is not only about shooting, but you can also use the airstrikes and other weapons such as grenades or knives.

Although Call of Duty can be considered a multiplatform game, with this version, you'll only play against other mobile players. So, no need to worry about facing players that will rumble you away with the aid of a mouse and a proper PS4 controller.

Great graphics, amazing gameplay and truly entertaining game modes. Exactly like the console version, but you can take it with you in your pocket. Give Call of Duty Mobile a chance, and you'll understand why it's our Game of the Week!
