Game of the Week

Black Desert

It’s been a while since Pearl Abyss announced that the most anticipated MMORPGs of the year would be released this week! We might be rushing a bit, but with only a few days to try out Black Desert Mobile, we can confirm it deserves it. Because of its level of customization and the fact that it meets the expectations shown in the trailer... it’s our Game of the Week!

Black Desert is exactly what we were expecting: a real MMORPG for mobile! That said, be careful and remember that mobile means auto features (questing and combat), timers, and numerous in-app purchases. The auto combat and questing features are quite useful and you can basically let the game carry on with the story - although we understand that this bit can be somewhat controversial. Many users prefer to actually enjoy their battles manually, which can often result in other players (who let the story unfold) to stay behind in the gameplay.

Customization is a real perk of this game. You can literally spend hours customizing your character! H-O-U-R-S. This is just one of the reasons we believe Black Desert is a real MMORPG for mobile devices (and a staple feature of Pearl Abyss). Congrats to them, they’ve managed to deliver an experience quite similar to PC!

There are some down points to this game, though. Firstly, you have to be aware that a big data download is required the first time you open the game. Totally understandable due to the high standards of the graphics, but be aware and find a good WiFi connection!

Anyway, if you’re a MMORPG lover you cannot miss this one. Give it a try and get it now!
