Game of the Week

Alto's Odyssey

Our Game of the Week is usually the latest hit that has just arrived to your Android device, but this time we’re paying more attention to other important aspects of a game (rather than it being a novelty). The graphics, the story line, the music... even the controls. We’ve got plenty of reasons to announce that this time, Alto’s Odyssey is our Game of the Week!

Alto’s Odyssey is the follow-up of one the more acclaimed games by the critics: Alto’s Adventure. They are kind of similar in many ways but you don’t need to play one to enjoy the other. This endless sandboarding journey takes you on a beautiful and peaceful adventure full of secrets and jaw-dropping landscapes. You’ll enjoy dunes, canyons and hidden temples on a very simplified game made - your eyes and ears will be delighted!

All of us that are used to complex RPGs or FPSs might find Alto’s Odyssey a bit too simple at the beginning. The controls are extremely easy to learn, with a one-touch trick system that seems classy and challenging at the same time, making the word “intuitive” applicable for the first time. Once you play for a bit longer, it’s easy to notice that this game is purely focused on transporting you to amazing places. The designs are flabbergasting, with beautiful graphics that you would see on movie theatre screens. The soundtrack is also something crucial for the whole experience, hence we can only recommend you to play with good earphones. Alto’s Odyssey even comes with a Zen Mode to enjoy all these aspects of the game without paying any attention to coins, power-ups or scores. Just enjoy the journey!

Alto’s Odyssey also brings you a few of Alto’s friends: six unique characters with different abilities. And to top it up, some secrets to be discovered in the sky, such as hot-air balloons, moving rails... and that’s only the beginning. If you haven’t done it yet, download it now and tell us what you think in our social media channels!
